• When people see and hear the fire sirens, they automatically think firefighters are on their way to fight a fire. However, on Monday, March 11, the North Sioux City Fire Department responded to a distress call for a young Husky named Bandit, who got his head stuck in a tire. The owners called after trying for 1.5 hours to get Bandit out themselves. The NSCFD was on the scene for 30 minutes before (pictured) Tim Bell and other firefighters were able to get Bandit free. Tim Bell said, “Bandit was a good boy.”
