The Leader-Courier and Times welcome news of interest to people with ties to the area. News can be submitted in person, by mail, or email.
Engagements, weddings, birth announcements, and anniversaries are printed with a charge, including photos. Death notices are printed for free. Obituaries are $50. Call or email Shannon Jost for more information: 605-356-2632, timesleader1@gmail.com.
The deadline for news items is Monday at noon.
Letters to the editor are selected for publication based on pertinent content and reader interest. Letters are limited to 200 words, must be the original work of the author, and must be submitted exclusively to the Leader-Courier. All letters, including those within the length limit, are edited for style, space, accuracy, and civility and are subject to the publisher’s approval.
Letters must include the author’s street address and daytime and evening telephone numbers. Towns are published; phone numbers and addresses are not.
