• Charles “Chuck” Sundstrom and his wife, Pat, were recognized at the last Alcester American Legion Post 86 meeting April 8. Chuck has been a member of the American Legion for 72 years and Pat for her years with the Auxiliary. Chuck is a Korean War veteran and served as Navy First Class Hospital Corpsman in 1951-55. On April 8, 2024, the Alcester American Legion Post 86 celebrated it’s long time member, former Navy First Class Hospital Corpsman Charles “Chuck” Sundstrom for 72 years of membership in the American Legion.
